Little Hokie™ Hangout Early Education Center

The Little Hokie™ Hangout is a flexible, subsidized early education program primarily for Graduate Student families. This program is designed to meet families' specific needs for childcare and is open to Virginia Tech students and employees (faculty and staff pay an increased rate) with children ages 2-5. Care is provided for three sessions each day: morning, afternoon, and evening, and the center is open from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. We follow the Virginia Tech calendar for closures and holidays. Tuition for the program is dependent on the number of hours per week that each child is enrolled, and the number of parent worker hours contributed. Little Hokie Hangout is located at 600 Prices Fork Road in the Luther Memorial Lutheran Church. For more information or a tour, email childcare@vt.edu.

NOTE: Little Hokie™ Hangout can only accept a limited number of applications for children who will be less than 2-1/2 years (30 months) old on their first day. Current students and their siblings will have priority. All other placement decisions will be based upon the date the application was received.
