Little Hokie™ Hangout Child Care Center

The Little Hokie™ Hangout is a flexible, subsidized child care program designed to meet the needs of graduate student families. Our program is also open to Virginia Tech employees at a slightly increased tuition rate. We serve children of 20 months through 5 years of age.

Care Hours

LHH center is open from 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday, following the Virginia Tech academic calendar for closures and holidays. Our day is divided into three blocks, making it easy for you to find the care that meets your needs:

• 8:30am-11:30am
• 11:30am-2:30pm
• 2:30pm-5:30pm

Tuition for the program is dependent on the number of hours per week that each child is enrolled. 

Application

Little Hokie™ Hangout is accepting applications for Fall 2026. Use the Fall 2026 application form to apply for a spot.

Location

Little Hokie Hangout is located at 600 Prices Fork Road in the Luther Memorial Lutheran Church.
