Task force reports
During the 2019-20 and 2020-21 academic years, the Graduate School undertook examinations of graduate education at Virginia Tech, across all units and campuses, and of mental health and wellness for graduate students. The two task forces produced reports in 2020. You'll find links to those reports on this page.
In 2020, the university Food Security Task Force met and studied food insecurity at Virginia Tech. The Food Security Task Force released its report in March 2021. A link to the report can be found below.
In March 2022, the Provost appointed a task force to examine graduate student compensation, per a resolution approved by University Council and originating from the Commission on Graduate and Professional Studies and Policies. The task force began meeting in the summer of 2022. We will post the report when it is released.
