New Graduate Student Orientation

Welcome to Virginia Tech!

Fall 2021 Blacksburg Orientation for New Graduate Students
August 20, 2021, 9:00-10:30am via Zoom (due to the recent flooding in the Graduate Life Center we are unable to host orientation in person)
The Vice President and Dean for Graduate Education will speak as well as a student panel. Please be sure to watch the videos below at your convenience as well.

There will be an Orientation Watch Party and Social Hour in Owens Banquet Hall  9:00-10:30am if you want to watch orientation with other graduate students, followed by a casual social hour until 11:30. Coffee, tea and breakfast refreshments will be available. Meet new and returning graduate students, Graduate School staff, and graduate student leaders.
