Alumni
Virginia Tech graduate alumni are leaders and innovators in the global community, active participants in the life of the graduate school, and partners in our continued success.
From around the world and across the country, (more than 50,000 strong), our dedicated graduate alumni provide critical financial support; offer invaluable services and opportunities to graduate students and support our graduate school community.
As a Graduate School alum, you are part of a growing, vibrant community, and you remain part of our family. You're a testament to our legacy of excellent graduates, a part of our vibrant, welcoming present and you are the key to our future.
We know alumni often check back with us to find information, continue their education or to learn about events. Here are some of the things alumni ask about most often:
- View and Update Your Alumni Profile
- Events for Alumni
- Request a transcript
- Take an online course
- Find sports schedules and ticket information
We love seeing our alumni during Homecoming celebrations, for Graduate Education Week in the spring, and at other events throughout the year.
We honor the Graduate Alumni Achievement Award winner each year during Fall Commencement. You'll find a list of past winners here.
The Graduate School and Alumni Association seek nominations each year for the Outstanding Graduate Alumni Achievement Award. The recipient is recognized at the Graduate School's spring commencement ceremony.
