Virginia Tech graduate alumni are leaders and innovators in the global community, active participants in the life of the graduate school, and partners in our continued success.

From around the world and across the country, (more than 50,000 strong), our dedicated graduate alumni provide critical financial support; offer invaluable services and opportunities to graduate students and support our graduate school community.

As a Graduate School alum, you are part of a growing, vibrant community, and you remain part of our family. You're a testament to our legacy of excellent graduates, a part of our vibrant, welcoming present and you are the key to our future.

We love seeing our alumni during Homecoming celebrations, for Graduate Education Week in the spring, and at other events throughout the year. 

The Graduate School and Alumni Association seek nominations each year for the Outstanding Graduate Alumni Achievement Award. The recipient is recognized at the Graduate School's spring commencement ceremony.

You also can help the Graduate School continue its efforts to provide programs, services, and support to students across the university. The three donor supported funds are noted below, Additionally, you can participate in social media campaigns, such as the annual Giving Day, or you can mail gifts and donations directly to the Virginia Tech Foundation at any time. Please make a check payable to the Virginia Tech Foundation and in the memo, state Graduate School. You can mail your check to:

The Transformative Graduate Education Fund

To make an online contribution, which supports student-focused initiatives such as professional development, diversity scholarship, and more, click “Give Now,” which takes you to the university's giving page. Advanced Degree Alumni Fund

To make an online contribution to this fund, which provides financial support to graduate students, click “Give Now,” then select “Graduate School Advanced Degree Alumni Fund” from the drop down menu.

Little Hokie Hangout Fund

To make an online contribution to this fund, which supports our early childhood education center, click “Give Now,” then select “Little Hokie Hangout Fund” from the drop down menu.
