Interdisciplinary Graduate Education Program (IGEP) Numbers
The Graduate School supports Interdisciplinary Graduate Education Programs (IGEPs) to promote and sustain graduate education and research across fields, programs, colleges and campuses. More than 300 graduate students have participated in the 15 Graduate School-supported non-degree granting IGEPs in addition to hundreds students enrolling in interdisciplinary degree-granting programs. For more information visit the IGEP webpage.
The chart below shows the flow of students from their primary major academic college to one of many IGEPs. Hover over any line to get a more detailed description of how many students have followed that path. The data show the unique path of any student participating in an IGEP from Fall 2015 to Fall 2023.
GBCB and Macromolecular Science and Engineering are interdisciplinary degree programs housed in the Graduate School so the student's primary major is the interdisciplinary program.
