You can reserve space in the Graduate Life Center for academic, professional, and recreational events that serve the graduate community.
There are six meeting rooms that graduate students, graduate student organizations, faculty, and staff can reserve for free. If you need equipment in addition to what’s listed in the room descriptions, you can request it for a daily rental fee. You can only make reservations for the current semester.
Auditorium and Multipurpose Room
The Auditorium and Multipurpose Room in the Graduate Life Center are considered major venues and can be reserved through the Event Planning Office.
GLC Plaza and Amphitheatre
This outdoor space serves as a gathering place for graduate students and the campus community, with spaces designed to accommodate outdoor performances. It can be reserved through the Event Planning Office.
Graduate student organizations, residents of the GLC, the Graduate School, and Student Engagement and Campus Life staff may reserve the Student Lounge by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, with a minimum of two weeks advance notice. If you plan to serve alcohol at the event, you must submit a request in time to obtain the appropriate ABC license and other university approvals.
